October theme LINES - week 2

Edie's Photo:  I will admit I took this one a few weeks ago before we picked our assignment.  However I found it so fitting for our theme I had to use it.

Corinna's photo: I was actually hanging out waiting to get a photo of the sunrise, when I saw how the fog was making lines above the field of beans! Thought it was cool so here it is!

Yes, yes I know we did lines last week and it was September. Well we like the theme a lot, and lines is such a wide open category that the photo possibilities are endless. So we decided why not keep it around for October too? So that's what we are doing this month. As always feel free to leave your comments and links to your LINES photos in the comments. July week two: theme AMERICA

I know I know... we posted the first week's take on the theme just yesterday and now we are posted the second week's take today. What can I say, this has been a crazy busy July so far.

Edie's AMERICA: My daughter and I went to a little boy's bday party today and they did the whole party up with an Army theme. These little guys were in the gift bag we got to take home. I would have much rather posted a photo showing off some of our brave men & women soldiers but unfortunately I did not get a chance to take any. So these little army men will have to do for this week's shot.

July week one: theme AMERICA

Happy Summer everyone!  We are focusing this months theme on AMERICA.. or AMERICAN.  We figured it was an appropriate theme considering what month it is.  There are lots of possibilities with this theme..  you could go with things that are red, white and blue, you could find things that people associate with America, or find things that symbolize what "America" is to you.   The sky is the limit on this one!

I'm still learning when it comes to taking photos of fireworks.  To me, fireworks symbolizes the 4th of July, which is of course is the celebration of America's independence.

Edie's Photo:  Ok.. I realize this is not a LIVE animal shot, but we were cleaning out my daughter's room this weekend and I found these animals.  They were one of her most played with toys when she was younger.     So this is my interpretation of the word this week. :)

Ready for a new theme?  We got a broad category for you this month..... ANIMAL!  Just think of the possibilities.. bugs, bears, cats, dogs, horses, hippos, snakes, fish, etc etc etc.   The list can just go on and on and on.

April showers bring..... WATER. At least I hope we get some showers this month, because it would be a good way to get some photos for this month's theme, which is WATER. March theme NATURE -- week two

I don't know about you guys, but Sunday Shutterbugs LOVES when we Spring ahead an extra hour.  Yes we lose 1 hrs worth of sleep, but having more daylight hours for our photography is well worth it.

Here is our 2nd week with the Nature theme.    How are you all doing so far this month?   Have you been able to find some nature near you?  If you have, make sure you leave a comment with a link to your blog or photo gallery.  Unfortunately Mr Linky gave us some issues so we will no longer be able to use them.  Can't wait to see everyones photos!
